BEXLEY TUBULAR LITHIUM
The “Bexley tubular lithium” has 2 powerful silent 100w motors cleverly concealed in its sleek aluminium tubular axle... The axle attaches to high specification 14 inch self coloured stylish wheels which are attached by the best quick release system in the trolley industry. the height of these wheels give the smoothest, easiest freewheel system making the Bexley tubular as easy to push as most motor less trolleys in an emergency.
The “handle” of this model is totally adjustable. In a moment of absolute genius Bexley engineers realised that not all golfers are the same size and therefore the handle should be adjustable to suit from the tallest to the shortest golfer.
The wave shaped light weight handle gets its strength from cleverly crafted, oval shaped, aviation grade aluminium.
The Bexley engineers (all golfers) realised that one of the biggest down falls of the current “wheelbarrow” caddies on the market today, was the instability of the bag when attached to the trolley. The bag on these trolleys waggle from side to side leaving instability and a directional pull making the trolley veer from side to side.
Bexley’s solidly attached bag rest simply solves this problem doing away with the need for wide Velcro belt straps……. the key word is simplicity.
Again when designing the start stop acceleration system of its trolleys, Bexley mixed simplicity, practicality and innovation in equal measure. A simple go faster go slower rotary switch. but also an on/off “cruise control” switch.
You set your trolley to your preferred walking speed by simply depressing the switch for 3 seconds, and the Bexley remembers your preferred walking speed every time you play golf by automatically going to that speed each time you press the button from stop… this cruise control will continue to work at that speed every time you use the trolley until of course you decide to reset it.
LITHIUM ION BATTERY
The light weight 2.5kg lithium battery fits neatly into a well in the chassis. It is even possible to put it into some trolley bags with back pockets using the Bexley extension cable.
Up to now the majority of electric trolleys have been using the heavier bigger lead acid batteries. The Bexley lithium battery is much “greener” (environmentally friendly) in production and disposal, lithium batteries are much superior to lead acid batteries in general. The Bexley lithium is expected to do 36 holes, indeed they have been known to do 3 rounds on flat courses between charges. this coupled with the fact that lithium ion batteries have an expected charge cycle of between 600/800 times compared to 250/300 times for the lead acid alternative, produces an expected 4 times ratio compared to the lead acid version.
Lithium batteries are favoured by serious golfers who sometimes do more than 1 round between charges and those who find the lead acid batteries too cumbersome
The folding qualities and the breakdown of the chassis , axle and wheels of Bexley trolleys means they fit neatly into the smallest of car boots and can be put into the neat Bexley trolley carrier bags
